Everton McLean, a spokesman with the Nova Scotia Health Authority, says the flooding was reported on the third floor of the Centennial Building at the Victoria General site sometime after 5 a.m. That caused flooding at the surgical unit on the second floor, postponing 31 surgeries and mostly affecting a sterile supplies room. Four patients on the third floor were moved to allow for repairs. This latest incident comes after a pipe burst in the Victoria General site in September, flooding several floors and postponing dozens of surgeries.
