The blaze got rolling last evening in a west Lethbridge residence and quickly spread to two neighbouring houses. No one was hurt. Dep. fire chief Dana Terry says despite the heat and smoke, crews managed to keep the flames from spreading even further. Terry says the siding on houses across a back lane were buckled by the heat, while other homes in the block have smoke damage. A total of 17 firefighters from three stations were involved in the battle.
