More than $1.5 billion in Small Business Administration disaster loans have also been approved for homeowners, renters and businesses. There has also been about $1.8 billion in Public Assistance grants for local, state and tribal governments, as well as eligible nonprofits to use for emergency response, debris removal and repairs or rebuilding of public facilities. About 6.4 million cubic yards of debris has been removed following the storm, FEMA also reported.
