Intact Insurance offers new online quick quote tool for Quebec consumers

Intact Insurance announced on Monday that it is now offering a new online “quick quote tool” for auto insurance for its Quebec consumers.

A press release from Intact used the example of a consumer insuring a vehicle for themselves as the only driver. It said that it can now offer a price quote online in just three minutes – the time it takes to answer 10 questions and review the information in a consumer’s profile.

For consumers who need to insure more than one vehicle or more than one driver sharing the same vehicle, a consumer can still receive a quote online by filling out a more detailed form, the release said.

Intact noted that it also recently announced a digital centre for digital excellence called Intact Lab, which is a group of research and development and digital experts from across the company whose “focus is on developing world-class solutions.”

Intact Insurance is Canada’s largest home, auto and business insurance company, with more than four million consumers. Intact Insurance products are distributed through insurance brokers working with more than 6,000 brokerages from coast to coast.
