The data comes directly from the Alberta River Forecasting Centre. The app will include alerts and flood-specific advisories, stream flows and water levels. It will also provide information on rain and snowfall. There is also a map broken into the province’s major river basins. Environment Minister Robin Campbell says the app helps ensure that people have information they need – especially in emergency situations.
