The Workforce ADVANTAGE program was introduced on Thursday in response to growing workforce demands of specialized expertise in the industry, and to provide an industry solution for clients in need of flexible staffing solutions, Crawford Canada said in a press release. Jim Eso, senior vice president, property & casualty with Crawford Canada, noted that the solution provides clients with on-demand access to a pool of professionals across all insurance disciplines, including auto, property, casualty, short-term and long-term disability, and workers’ compensation. Crawford provides the best-suited claims professional for any staffing need based on area of expertise, professional background and education for job functions such as desktop and field adjusting and special projects such as file closure and/or file review and run-off. Crawford Workforce ADVANTAGE is overseen by Carmin Lakhanpal, who joined the company in December 2017, bringing over 14 years of experience in the insurance industry and human resources to the team. Pat Van Bakel, president and chief executive officer of Crawford Canada, said that the solution “helps to accelerate the recruitment and hiring process while providing appropriate on-demand staffing needs.” Jason Contant Jason has been an award-winning journalist with Canadian Underwriter for more than a decade, including the past three years as associate editor and, before that, as digital editor for seven years.
