William Olson named Winnipeg Insurance Lawyer of the Year

E. William Olson has been named the Winnipeg Insurance Lawyer of the Year for 2011. A partner at Thompson Dorfman Sweatman LLP (TDS), Olson was bestowed the honour by Best Lawyers, a peer-review publication in the legal profession. “We continue to believe – as we have believed for more than 25 years – that recognition by one’s peers is the most meaningful form of praise in the legal profession,” says Steven Naifeh, president of Best Lawyers. Lawyers are decided through peer-review surveys, in which thousands of lawyers confidentially evaluate their professional peers.
