Winnipeg police and MPI conducted the inspection program on Aug. 21, between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Vehicle owners were invited to attend without concern of any repercussion.A total of 77 vehicles were inspected throughout the day. Of these, 27 passed the inspection with no defects, and at least one defect was identified on each of the remaining 50 vehicles.
