A.M. Best upgrades SCOR’s financial strength rating to ‘A’

A.M. Best Co. has upgraded the financial strength rating to ‘A’ (Excellent) from ‘A-‘ (Excellent) of SCOR S.E. (SCOR) (La Defense, France).In addition, A.M. Best increased the issuer credit rating to ‘a’ from ‘a-‘ for SCOR’s life and non-life North American operating subsidiaries.The rating actions apply to SCOR Canada Reinsurance Company (Toronto, Ontario), as well as to SCOR Global Life U.S. Re Insurance Company (Plano,TX), SCOR Global Life Reinsurance Company of America (Wilmington, DE), SCOR Global Life Re Insurance Company of Texas (Plano, TX), SCOR Reinsurance Company (New York, NY), Investors Insurance Corporation (Wilmington DE) and General Security Indemnity Company of Arizona (Phoenix, AZ).
