Of 200 careers, actuary listed as No. 4, with a listed average income of $93,680. Mathematician ranked as the top career, followed by tenured university professor, statistician, actuary and audiologist. The rankings are based on various factors, such as income, environment (with emotional and physical factors), growth outlook, and stress level. The data was derived in part from the U.S. Department of Department of Labor and the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), and from other governmental agencies, trade associations and private survey firms, according to CareerCast. Insurance underwriter was ranked No. 67, while insurance agent was at No. 158. While newspaper reporters and taxi drivers were listed low, the “worst” job at No. 200 was lumberjack. The full job rating list is available on CareerCast’s website. Canadian Underwriter Print Group 8 LinkedIn LI X (Twitter) logo Facebook Print Group 8
