Alister Campbell to become CEO of The Guarantee Company of North America in early September

Alister Campbell has been appointed CEO of The Guarantee Company of North America, effective early September.

Campbell made the news public on his LinkedIn page. Most recently, he was president and CEO of Zurich Insurance’s Canadian operations.

“Happy to announce that I will be assuming a new position as CEO of a wonderful Canadian insurance icon, The Guarantee Company of North America, effective September 4, 2012,” Campbell wrote on his LinkedIn profile. “Have spent some months deliberating on a series of excellent opportunities and am quite convinced that I have picked the one where I can have the greatest impact and have the most fun!”

Campbell’s LinkedIn post notes the effective date reflects the fact that he will be travelling overseas during the summer.
