Aviva appoints new head for Quebec and Atlantic Canada

Aviva Canada has appointed Martin-Eric Tremblay as senior vice president for Quebec and Atlantic Canada as of Nov. 1.

Tremblay has worked in the insurance industry for 30 years and has management and executive experience in marketing, underwriting, operations and actuarial. Most recently, he was executive vice president of national P&C products and president of Quebec operations with the Co-operators Group Ltd. in Montreal.

In his new role, Tremblay will lead broker support, customer service and underwriting expertise initiatives for the Quebec and Atlantic regions.

Tremblay is succeeding Patricia St-Jean, who has held the role for the past seven years and will assist with the leadership transition, Aviva said in a release.
