Aviva Canada gets CSIO certification for eDocs

Aviva Canada has obtained certification for eDocs, the Centre for the Study of Insurance Operations said Tuesday.

“After launching a national eDocs program a year ago in both languages, we are proud to receive the CSIO endorsement,” Robert Merizzi, CIO for Aviva Canada said in a press release from CSIO.

“The certification reflects our team’s dedication to improving the ease of doing business for our broker partners.”

CSIO data exchange standards are company neutral and help solve data compatibility issues, facilitate more efficient and seamless integration of information and improve implementation of technology solutions.

“We are very pleased that Aviva Canada, a leading provider of P&C insurance, obtained CSIO Certification for its eDocs solution,” Catherine Smola, president and CEO of CSIO added in its statement.

“By participating in the certification process, Aviva Canada understands the significant benefits realized through the implementation of standardized solutions across the industry. CSIO Certification is available to member insurance companies and vendors. eDocs is the first business activity available for certification, with plans to expand the program to cover other activities.
