Bob Fitzgerald joins ClaimsPro as president of Canadian operations

Bob Fitzgerald has joined ClaimsPro Inc. (a division of SCM Insurance Services) as president of its Canadian operations.Fitzgerald most recently served as executive vice president and chief marketing and underwriting officer at Aviva Canada.He joins the executive of SCM Insurance Services and will lead the ClaimsPro team from SCM’s Toronto office. He will report directly to Larry Schumka, CEO of SCM Insurance Services.Fitzgerald brings more than 25 years of experience in the Canadian insurance industry to the post. He began his career at Safeco Insurance Company of Canada, held senior positions at Dominion of Canada General Insurance and Axa Canada Inc., and was an active member of Aviva Canada’s executive leadership team between 2002 and 2010. “Bob is an individual of the highest calibre,” said Shumka. “His commitments to the industry and his strategic leadership will be an inspiration for ClaimsPro insurance professionals.”Most importantly, his values and principles align with ClaimsPro’s culture.
