Brian Parsons appointed CEO of Willis Canada

Willis North America, has appointed Brian Parsons as national partner and CEO of Willis Canada, the company announced Tuesday.

Parsons is joining Willis after spending 22 years with Marsh Canada, where he held a variety of leadership roles, most recently as the national practice leader for Marsh’s Mining Practice.

In his new role, Parsons will be responsible for the strategic direction of Willis North America’s Canadian operations, focusing on business development and expanding Willis’ footprint in the marketplace, according to its statement. He will also work closely with Willis’ Global Industries and product leaders, including Natural Resources, to deliver the full range of insurance solutions to clients, it added.

Parsons will report to Todd Jones, CEO of Willis North America.
