The executive committee has appointed Colin Simpson, former CEO of Independent Broker Resources Inc. (IBRI), as the interim CEO of IBAO. IBRI is the for-profit arm of the IBAO whose activities include the launch of new telematics offerings in the province. “We wish to thank Mr. Carroll for his significant contributions to the association, and the industry as a whole, over his career with the IBAO and wish him well going forward,” IBAO’s president Chris Floyd said in a statement issued Tuesday. “The IBAO is continually committed to its thriving membership of brokers across the province as well as our relationships with our sister associations and stakeholders groups and look forward to the next phase of the association’s growth.” When asked for further comment, an IBAO spokesperson told Canadian Underwriter that “We have no further information to share at this time regarding Mr. Carroll’s departure but wish him well on future endeavors.” Canadian Underwriter Print Group 8 LinkedIn LI X (Twitter) logo Facebook Print Group 8
