Chesterfiled offers cover for mobile plants and machinery equipment

Chesterfield Canada Inc. has launched a mobile plant and machinery equipment floater program. The product is designed to pay for loss or damage to an insured’s mobile plant in the event of an accident and is broad form “all-risks” cover. In some instances, coverage can be extended to include equipment breakdown and any resultant loss. Subject to the equipment being properly maintained, the policy will cover the full cost of repair and replacement, including extra expenses such as the cost of dismantling to clean or overhaul and re-erection.The policy will also cover the full costs and taxes of freight and transit to and from workshops.
