He chuckled that some even went so far as forcing him to take on the role. “Thank you, Fred,” Daigle said. “Fred Plant did an amazing job for all of us here . . . so much dedication and so much passion. It’s quite an example you set for us and for the association.” During his term as president, Daigle will work to bring continuing education to all provinces, as currently only some are required to complete credit hours. In addition, Daigle will be working to address the shortage of adjusters within the industry.A new executive was also inaugurated: Patti Kernaghan, first vice presidentMary Charman, second vice president Marie Gallagher, secretary Randy LaBrash, treasurer Fred Plant, immediate past presidentDuring the evening, Brian Harris was honoured as a lifetime member for his dedication to the association for the past 24 years. Craig Walker and Jean-Marc Laurin were recognized as Fellows of the Canadian Independent Adjusters’ Association (FCIAA).
