CloudInsure, Guy Carpenter partner on cloud coverage

CloudInsure, a cloud insurance platform, has partnered with reinsurance intermediary Guy Carpenter & Co. to reach more primary insurers with its privacy and security liability coverage.

CloudInsure, a subsidiary of Cyber Risk Partners, is designed to address liabilities in cloud computing environments. Through its agreement with Guy Carpenter, it will be able to work with primary insurers to offer its product to enterprise customers.

“We believe that CloudInsure has developed a sustainable solution and methodology, based on solid analytics and data, which will foster this emerging marketplace,” Tony Jones, vice president at Guy Carpenter said in a statement.

“Guy Carpenter’s role as a trusted reinsurance intermediary uniquely positions us to assist in further advancing this marketplace by creating the risk transfer mechanisms and innovations necessary to support primary insurer adoption on a mass scale.”
