DriveCam Inc., a global driver risk management company, is expanding its driver risk management, fuel management and fleet tracking solutions into Canada. DriveCam pioneered a solution in 1998 that enables continuous driver monitoring and exception-based video capture to identify patterns of risky driving behavior. Based on this core solution, DriveCam introduced a comprehensive program in 2005 for identifying, prioritizing and correcting the causes of poor driving before they lead to a collision.”As a result of DriveCam’s partnership with Rogers Communications, one of the largest communications companies in Canada, some top fleets in North America – such as Progressive Waste Solutions, Sysco, and Linde – are taking advantage of this technology to expand their footprint in Canada,” the company said in a press release. “In addition, Canadian service is now available to any fleet with services in Canada.”Cellular service also enables fleets to take advantage of applications that require real-time communication such as Fleet Tracking and Fuel Management.
