He became the CEO for Canada in 1998, when he accepted a role to oversee all nine AIG entities operating under the AIG umbrella. He led the establishment, licensing and acquisition of numerous AIG companies in Canada.He led the project to create the Canadian Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (OSFI)-regulated company that is now Chartis (Canada) in 2008.
