Free to independent collision repair shops, Body Repair News is an ongoing series that offers details on various subjects, including body structure diagrams and guidelines on welding and materials strength. The company says the information will better equip professionals with the facts required for repairing various types of vehicle damage to Honda and Acura vehicles. “Body Repair News helps collision industry personnel by giving them the factory service information essential for safe Honda and Acura repair,” Doug Staddon, manager of parts operation for Honda Canada noted in the announcement. “This is part of our ongoing commitment to delivering high standards of vehicle safety and support, which extends well beyond the showroom.” Inaugural issues for the 2014 Acura MDX and 2013 Honda Accord have already been released while repair guides for 2014 Acura RLX and 2014 Honda Odyssey are currently in development. Independent repair shops can access copies by visiting Honda’s Service Express website at techinfo.honda.com or techinfo.acura.com and clicking on “Collision Repair Information.” Future editions of Body Repair News will be created for every new model and any minor model change where significant design changes occur, according to Honda.
