IBAO sponsors the Ontario Minor Hockey Association

The Insurance Brokers Association of Ontario (IBAO) extended its annual sponsorship of the Ontario Minor Hockey Association (OMHA) to a brand-new goaltender equipment outreach program: The Best Insurance is a Good Goalie. The program provides a set of goalie equipment to more than 40 children between the ages of 5 and 7 who have dreams of becoming a hockey goalie. Additionally, IBAO will provide minor hockey associations with goaltending resources to aid coaches. The program was launched in Newmarket, Ontario on Sept. 21, 2011. Joining local OMHA goaltenders were Kay Whitmore, NHL goaltending supervisor, Mike Naples, general manager of Insureit Group Inc., and Scott Tupling, president of Tupling Insurance Brokers Limited.
