Jeff Goy new CEO of Wawanesa

Wawanesa Mutual Insurance Company recently announced that Jeff Goy has been appointed president and chief executive officer, replacing Ken McCrea.

Goy joined Winnipeg-based Wawanesa in 1990. He has been vice president of automobile underwriting, vice president of insurance product and was appointed vice president of corporate development in 2013.

McCrea will remain on Wawanesa’s board of directors.

In addition to his new appointment as president and CEO, Goy has also been elected as a director of The Wawanesa Mutual Insurance Company, The Wawanesa Life Insurance Company and Wawanesa General Insurance Company. Goy is a member of the board of the Insurance Bureau of Canada. He has also been a member of the boards of the General Insurance Statistical Agency and the Centre for Study of Insurance Operations.
