Johnson employees donated non-perishable food items as well as grocery gift cards and cash. The donation will be provided to food banks located in the communities in which the items were collected. “Our team has enthusiastically supported those in need during the holiday season,” said Johnson president Ken Bennett. “I am proud of the efforts of our 1,500 people from St. John’s, Newfoundland to Langley, B.C., who have shown the power that a national team can have in support of a great cause.” Approximately, 851,000 people in Canada drew on a food bank in March 2011. This suggests food bank usage was 26% higher in March 2011 than it was just three years ago. Canadian Underwriter Print Group 8 LinkedIn LI X (Twitter) logo Facebook Print Group 8
