Marsh reports increase in 2010 revenue

Marsh reported total revenue of $10.6 billion in 2010, marking an increase from 2009’s revenue of $9.8 billion.In 2010 Q4, the company reported $2.8 billion in revenue, marking an increase from $2.6 billion in revenue over the same period in 2009. Investment income in 2010 was $43 million, a marked improvement from 2009’s investment loss of $2 million.Marsh’s U.S./Canada operations reported $2.3 billion in revenue in 2010, an increase from 2009’s $2.1 billion. Quarter-over-quarter, the U.S./Canada unit also reported an increase in revenue, from $568 million in 2009 Q4 to $625 million in 2010 Q4.
