National Brokers Insurance Services acquires family-owned Ontario brokerage

National Brokers Insurance Services Inc. announced Friday it has aquired Grant, Jones & Stuart Insurance Brokers Inc., a family owned and operated company formed in 1987.

Deal

Grant, Jones & Stuart will now operate as a division of Mississauga, Ont.-based National Brokers Insurance Services while remaining in its current office in Markham, Ont. 

National Brokers Insurance specializes in providing custom-tailored solutions for organizations and individuals. 

The combination of the two companies brings together complementary businesses and will enhance National Brokers Insurance’s future growth and strategic plan, the company said in its announcement. “With this acquisition we are gaining more strong talent and a solid base of clients,” vice president Donna Walczyk noted.
