New online tool to aid brokers

Markel Insurance Co. of Canada has launched an online endorsement processing service for Markel insurance brokers servicing the Canadian trucking industry. Silvy Wright, president and CEO of Markel explains that mid-term endorsements are a time-consuming endeavor for brokers. “Our answer to this is Markel EZEndorse,” Wright says. The Web-based tool helps all brokers, even those with few trucking clients, to expedite the process of mid-term endorsement, according to Wright.The new, free tool allows brokers to submit one or more mid-term requests within a single session and then save them and track the progress of each request to completion. In addition, brokers can confirm a number of eligibility rules at the start of each request. A French version of Markel EZEndorse will be launched at a later, undisclosed date.
