New Toronto-based commercial broker targeting GTA organizations

Aligned Insurance Inc., a commercial broker based in downtown Toronto, officially launched operations in Ontario March 25.

Led by president and chief executive officer Andrew Clark, Aligned is currently targeting small, medium and large organizations in and around the Greater Toronto Area.

The new independent firm is attempting to differentiate itself with a 0% commission (fee-only) structure and a strategy to grow across the country by offering a unique equity structure to attract the best talent in the commercial insurance segment, according to Clark.

Clark has worked with the business insurance division of Aon in Toronto, as well as with Marsh Canada. While at Marsh, he led and managed a department providing services to small and medium-sized organizations across various industries.

He has a Chartered Insurance Professional designation and holds an MBA from Wilfred Laurier University.
