TD Insurance to let auto customers file claims, get collision repairs at one location

TD Insurance announced Wednesday that it is teaming up with its preferred vendors and will open Feb. 2 a “one-stop solution” for auto claims and collision repairs.

“TD Insurance auto insurance customers will be able to complete all the steps of an auto collision repair process – file a claim, drop off their vehicle, get their vehicle appraised, repaired, and if needed, rent a car – all at one location,” the insurer said in a press release. “In addition, they will only need to deal with one contact throughout the claims process – the TD Insurance adjuster onsite assigned to the claim.”

The first TD Insurance site to start offering this initiative will be in Calgary, Alberta at CARSTAR Calgary Chinook, located at 4700, 1st Street SE.

“Not only does this initiative allow us to deliver critic TD Insurance’s single source solution to offer auto insurance customers greater convenience TD Insurance auto insurance customers will be able to perform all the steps of an auto collision repair process at one convenient location,” stated Craig Richardson, Vice President at TD Insurance, in a release.

“Customers will also enjoy greater flexibility in dropping off and picking up their vehicles,” TD Insurance states. “The site will extend its opening hours on Mondays to Fridays from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and operate on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.”
