The Economical continues roll-out of web-based underwriting system

The Economical Insurance Group completed the rollout in Quebec of its web-based underwriting system, Energie Auto.

“We are leading the Canadian general insurance industry in moving away from legacy systems to a web-based solution,” said Steve Livingstone, Economical’s vice president of personal insurance. “Having a web-based system brings us closer to achieving the ultimate goal of full integration with broker management systems.”

The next phase for Energie begins this summer when Economical will begin rolling out Energie Property across the country in Alberta, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island and Quebec.

Energie Property is already present in Ontario.
