The app, created by Independent Broker Resources Inc., allows brokers to have their own branded mobile app available to clients for reporting a claim from their phone in the event of an accident or loss, according to IBRI. Among other features, it includes a home inventory tool and an auto accident reporting tool. The app is available for the iPhone, BlackBerry and Android. The Guarantee will subsidize the cost of the app to provincial broker association members contracted with its Personal Lines business. “We strongly believe that by enabling brokers with innovative technology, we can offer clients better customer and claims service. We’re happy to do all we can to support IBRI and Provincial Association member brokers by subsidizing the cost of Insurance Companion,” Robert A. Dempsey, the company’s president and COO said in a release. Canadian Underwriter Print Group 8 LinkedIn LI X (Twitter) logo Facebook Print Group 8
