The study is scheduled for completion by the end of 2011, a TIRF release says. The objective of the project is to share with frontline criminal justice practitioners the current research and strategies for dealing with this population. Researchers will: summarize the state-of-knowledge regarding female impaired drivers; highlight the types of programs and sentencing alternatives currently available for female offenders; and summarize research relating to the effectiveness of programs/sanctions/treatment options for women, including those that are gender-sensitive. The project may also include focus groups with female-impaired drivers to gauge their experiences. Canadian Underwriter Print Group 8 LinkedIn LI X (Twitter) logo Facebook Print Group 8
