S.i. Systems Ltd. completed its acquisition of Genex Systems Professionals Group, a Toronto-based information technology consulting and staffing firm serving the insurance and banking industries.Derek Bullen, CEO of S.i. Systems, said, “The combination of Genex and S.i. Systems Ltd. is a good business model for further growth of our staffing services into the banking and insurance industries, where we both have a significant and rapidly growing market share.”Genex is composed of 120 IT professionals, and will operate as a division of S.i. Systems Ltd. until a formal name change occurs in early 2007.

Anthony Clark International Insurance Brokers Ltd. granted options to certain directors, senior officers and staff to purchase up to a total of 485,000 common shares in the capital of the company at a price of $0.37 per share. The options granted will expire, if unexercised, on the close of business on December 31, 2008, says a company release. The options had previously been issued and expired.Anthony Clark International has expanded through internal growth and the acquisition of 21 general insurance brokerages. Currently, the company processes more than Cdn$83 million in insurance premiums.
