Zurich brings spill reporting system to Canadian market

Zurich has launched its Spill Reporting Online System in Canada – in time for icy weather and hazardous road conditions.Zurich first launched the service in 2008 for its Environmental Transportation customers in the United States.The 24-hour service helps customers deal with physical and financial aspects of an environmental spill by:• dispatching timely cleanup contractors to reduce costs associated with environmental releases resulting from accidents;• tracking changes in current environmental reporting regulations and contact information to avoid fees and penalties resulting from missing reporting deadlines;• providing oversight of spill cleanup activities to ensure the scope of work being performed is reasonable and necessary.
