2025 RIMS Canada Conference ‘After Dark Party’ Raises $2000 for WICC

CLAGARY, AB, OCTOBER 27, 2025/insPRESS/ – On Monday, September 15, 2025, 30 Forensic Engineering, On Side Restoration Services Ltd., Echelon Insurance, and the Risk Management Counsel of Canada (RMC) hosted an unforgettable ‘After Dark Party’ at the 2025 RIMS Canada Conference. Held at ‘The Unicorn’ in Calgary, the event welcomed well over 500 delegates from Canada’s Risk Management community for an evening of fun, entertainment and in support of the Women in Insurance Cancer Crusade (WICC) (Alberta Chapter)!

The highlight of the night was a performance by ‘Orange Whip,’ the five-time Battle of the Insurance Bands winner, featuring Lewis and Michael Moorman from Apex Claims Solutions and David Brown. DJ Brown Sugar also kept the energy high throughout the night. The event supported the Women in Insurance Cancer Crusade (WICC) (Alberta Chapter) with a raffle that raised over $2,000 for the Canadian Cancer Society, thanks to the generosity of attendees. The grand prize was a full delegate registration for the 2026 RIMS Canada Conference, graciously donated by the incredible executive of the RIMS Canada Council. Thank you!

The 2025 RIMS Canada Conference itself was a resounding success, attracting over 2,000 risk management professionals to the Calgary TELUS Convention Centre from September 14 to 17. The conference featured excellent keynote speakers, engaging panel discussions, insightful education sessions, and a vibrant tradeshow. Well done RIMS (Risk and Insurance Management Society, Inc.) Canada!
