This launch positions our firm to better serve our valued and ever-growing Ottawa-area clients by providing them with high quality, consistent and local forensic engineering services. The 30 Forensic Engineering Ottawa market will be served by Mark Paquette, B.A.Sc., CFEI, CVFI, P.Eng. Fluent in both official languages, Mark is a seasoned and trial tested Professional Engineer, Certified Vehicle Fire Investigator and Certified Fire & Explosion Investigator who brings more than 10 years of experience conducting collision reconstruction investigations to the Ottawa area. Mark has undertaken testing of automobiles, snowmobiles, streetcars and other heavy vehicles to better understand and quantify their capabilities and has worked on hundreds of investigations. He has been qualified as an Expert Witness by the Ontario Superior Court of Justice in collision reconstruction, determination of collision forces, seatbelt usage assessment, occupant motions during a collision and interpretation of ‘black box’ data. Also qualified by the Ontario Court of Justice in the preparation of computer-generated graphic representations of accident reconstructions and by the Ontario Provincial Offences Court in the operation and function of motorcycles and automotive braking systems.
