As a professional liability underwriter, Boucher will continue contributing to CHES’s growing footprint in Quebec while assuming more leadership responsibilities

Montréal, Québec, March 9, 2026/insPRESS/ – CHES Solutions Spécialisées, part of CHES Special Risk (CHES) and a leading Canadian managing general agent (MGA), today announced the appointment of Virginie Boucher as vice-président senior, Division du Québec. Boucher performs professional liability underwriting with a focus on technology, cyber and directors & officers’ insurance.

In her new role she will focus on expanding CHES’s Quebec presence, strengthening local broker relationships and enhancing the MGA’s operational and underwriting capabilities. Boucher will report to Gary Hirst, president and CEO of CHES.

Boucher has extensive experience in commercial insurance across the risk management sector, and has focused on professional medical malpractice and technology and cyber underwriting throughout her career. She has strong leadership skills and a thorough understanding of the Quebec marketplace, and has worked at CHES since 2022.
