FIRST ONSITE hires insurance veteran, Asima Zahid as SVP of National Brokers & Lloyd’s portfolio

MISSISSAUGA, ON, NOVEMBER 26, 2024/insPRESS/ – FIRST ONSITE Property Restoration, Canada’s leading property restoration company, has announced the appointment of insurance industry veteran Asima Zahid as Senior Vice President, National Brokers and Lloyd’s Portfolio. Her new role is part of First Onsite’s commitment to enhancing its capabilities within the insurance sector and paves the way for future opportunities in the rapidly evolving marketplace.

Asima brings over 20 years’ experience in the insurance industry and a robust network of relationships within the Lloyd’s market and with national brokers. Before joining First Onsite, Asima held a leadership role at Sompo, where she led business development and distribution strategies, and has worked with some of Canada’s top insurance companies, including Lloyd’s, Aviva and TD Insurance. Known for her commitment to diversity and inclusion, Asima has also been an active ambassador for women in the insurance industry, serving on the Dive In board for the past seven years and participating in panel discussions at the Women in Insurance Conference.
