TORONTO, ON, NOVEMBER 12, 2025/insPRESS/ – The Ontario chapter of the Women in Insurance Cancer Crusade (WICC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Kyle Weir, Executive Vice President, Commercial Lines at KRGinsure, as Chair of Relay for Life on the WICC Ontario Board of Directors.

Kyle succeeds Amanda Martin, Director at Northridge Insurance, who has served with dedication in this role and now transitions to WICC Ontario Co-Chair. His appointment represents a natural progression from his longstanding volunteer involvement with WICC and his deep commitment to the insurance community.

With more than 14 years at KRG Insurance and extensive experience in commercial lines, Kyle brings strong industry knowledge, leadership, and community spirit to the Board. A long-time supporter of the WICC Toronto Relay for Life, one of WICC’s flagship fundraising events in partnership with the Canadian Cancer Society, Kyle has seen firsthand the power of collaboration across the industry.

“Being part of Relay for Life over the years has shown me the incredible impact our industry can have when we come together for a shared cause,” said Kyle Weir. “It’s an honour to take on this role and continue building on the legacy of leadership and community that Amanda and the committee have established.”

Since its inception in 1996, WICC Ontario has contributed more than $12.3 million nationwide to cancer research, education, and support initiatives – funds raised in part through events like Relay for Life that unite the insurance community in the fight against cancer.

“Kyle’s passion for Relay for Life and his leadership within our industry make him an outstanding addition to the Board,” said Garth Pepper, Co-Chair, WICC Ontario. “We’re deeply grateful to Amanda Martin for her tremendous leadership as Chair of Relay for Life and for her continued contributions as she steps into the role of Co-Chair of WICC Ontario. We’re confident that Kyle will build on her legacy and continue to champion this flagship event with energy, purpose, and a strong commitment to WICC’s mission.”
