Lydale Property Restoration Welcomes Back Darren Cherban as Regional District Manager, Prairies Region

CALGARY, AB, OCTOBER 1, 2025/insPRESS/ – Lydale Property Restoration, a wholly owned subsidiary of Canstar Restorations, is pleased to announce that Darren Cherban has rejoined the company as Regional District Manager for Prairies Region.

A lifelong Calgarian and University of Calgary graduate, Darren began his restoration career with Lydale more than 20 years ago before broadening his leadership experience across Western Canada. Notably, he served as Territory Manager, Calgary at On Side Restoration where he led strategic planning, change management to support regional growth, and revenue generation while maintaining high service standards. Earlier leadership roles included District General Manager, Southern Alberta at First Onsite Restoration and General Manager at RCC North, giving him a 360° view of emergency restoration operations, team development, and insurer/customer expectations.

Throughout his career, Darren has earned a reputation as both a student and a leader in restoration, growing from mastering the technical aspects of fire and flood recovery to mentoring and managing high-performing teams. Colleagues across the business often point to Darren as the person who helped them forge long-lasting and successful careers in restoration.

Passionate about customer service, Darren treats every file like it’s a neighbour in need, bringing care, communication, and professionalism to every claim.

Outside of work, Darren takes full advantage of Alberta’s Great Outdoors, often found riding his horse or spending time with family.
