Cambridge, Ont.-based Collectivfide is in its seventh year of operation, offering centralized services to broker partners in their network. Its shareholders represent mutual insurance companies in Ontario and across Canada. The network allows broker partners to benefit from being part of a large brokerage without losing their personal connections to their communities and identities. As the founder and managing partner of Gradient Solutions, Mulcair has been consulting with brokers for more than 20 years. He’s provided advice to Canadian insurance brokers, carriers, and software providers about operational performance, how to build scalable operating models, strategic planning, growth, and leadership and team development. “Sean brings a rare combination of strategic insight, operational expertise, and people-first leadership,” says Tony Ngo, president and CEO of Collectivfide Insurance Group. “He has successfully executed business goals, led meaningful operational transformation, and always put people at the centre of the work. But what really won me over was the people, grounded values, true collaboration, and a culture I’m proud to be part of.” Mulcair has been a repeat guest lecturer at numerous conventions on behalf of the insurance brokers’ associations of Ontario, Quebec, and Alberta. He has written a wide range of articles and ebooks for national magazines on subjects relating to sales strategy, efficiency, and customer experience. He has lectured at McGill University in the risk management department. Early in his career, he was appointed Quebec’s Best Practices Champion by the Insurance Brokers Association of Canada (IBAC).
